I was super excited to read this series and I'm so glad I got to. It's a quick read from start to finish since it's a serial, but well worth your time! Ashley Suzanne's writing flows beautifully....no hiccups, just very easy to read. I love that about her writing!! She has such talent and her imagination intrigues me.However, before I get into my little discussion on this series, this part of her blurb is SO very true. Read it and heed it:

The first two books in this series had so much angsty tension building up that I was getting super excited; and we know how much I love angst!! There was lust and fire and depth and giddiness involved in the first two. I easily fell for Nolan and totally felt the chemistry between these two, but Jordan still had a piece of her heart. He owned that piece and was NOT about to give it up. They had history and a past that could not be forgotten. I love a good triangle....love it. So, here you have two men that are vowing to fight for Loren and the truth is, they both fought admirably hard.

Now, for the nitty gritty....I don't even know how to verbalize my thought process at the ending of this series. Verbal thought vomit: I don't even know how in the world I could rationalize my feelings on this and feel that the book had it's perfect HEA. It was NOT what I thought it would be and totally guessed off mark, but it was the most perfect ending for Loren and Nolan. I actually had to talk it out with Ashley personally, and she told me that it isn't HOW I feel....it's WHAT I feel. Perfect pep talk...ha!!
~With my head and heart at war, I have to find a way to finally decide. Finally give myself peace of mind.~
This series was pure seductive, angsty sexiness. I really enjoyed reading it, and the wait from book one to book three really wasn't that long of a wait. Having said that, I also PINED over what was going to happen in book three and I was totally on ONE team the ENTIRE time I was reading this series. But, lucky YOU, they are all out now. Grab them and enjoy!!

I adore Ashely Suzanne!! This was such a fantastic series!
This is such an easy series to read, Loren is a sweet girl who just wants to be happy again. Her last relationship left her feeling distraught but she now feels like it's time to move on. She decides to try the world of online dating. There are a series of mishaps but then she meets Mr Perfect.
"Wow," I mutter, smiling slightly. He's amazing. And we can be amazing together." - Loren
Nolan is gorgeous and he sings in a band. They spend the most perfect night out together and as she sits there soaking up the afterglow of date perfection someone from her past comes knocking on her door and pops her happy bubble!
Just when she feels like her life is getting back on track she now has two men vying for her attention and is faced with a huge choice. Take a leap with a man that is exciting and new or someone from her past who she kind of feels she should give a second chance to?
Jordan has his faults but he is deeply in love with Loren and desperate to win her heart back. Has he ever lost it though? The more time they spend together the more confusing Loren's life seems to get.
Nolan is one of the most honorable men I have had the pleasure of reading about. He is sweet and genuinely cares for Loren. He has a past that comes to the fore also in this story. He knows that to move forward he has to go back and get closure from his past. He takes his responsibilities seriously and there is this beautiful moment that will have you reaching for tissues. Like, a serious sobfest.
There will be tears and heartbreak but I promise you will finish with that lovely sense of contentment. This series has a happy ever after ending but it may not be what you expected, however it is just perfect.
I'm an avid Ashley Suzanne reader so when I saw that she had a new title out, I didn't hesitate to one-click that sucker. These short stories packed quite the punch. I was up, down, sideways and a few other things too.
Claim follows Loren as she sets herself up on a dating website. She is ready to move forward with her life and get back on the horse. Her character was fun and easy to relate to, as we've all had our heart broken. She decides to go with her instinct and meet one of the guys that seems like he could be a good guy. Enter Nolan, the sexy singing cowboy. When they meet, there is an instant connection. The feelings they're both having are fast but legitimate. Just as things are looking good for the Loren and Nolan, a blast from the past returns to shake things up.
Jordan is back and the gloves are coming off in the fight for his woman. Only problem is, Nolan doesn't know there is a fight to be had. Loren eventually comes clean to him about whats going on and Nolan's reaction is what you would expect of him. He is shocked, confused but decides hes in it. That is until someone from his past comes calling. To say I was shocked with that twist is an understatement! Of course, there is a little humor brought into the drama at the hands of Cleo, Loren's best friend. The relationship they share is truly special and reminds me of the way I am with my best friend.
I had no idea where the story was headed or who was going to end up together in the end. I just had to know what would happen next between Nolan and Loren and Jordan. Volume three delivered more than I thought it would. I was so invested in the characters that I read this all in one setting and still wanted more when all was said and done. I really enjoyed reading all three POV's. While that may seem like it would be confusing, it wasn't at all. It was very clear whose perspective the story was coming from. And this only enhanced the reasoning for the actions.
I loved how Jordan was ready to battle for his wife and marriage. Even when Loren was so torn, he wasn't going down without the fight of his life. Loren was rightfully conflicted- how do you choose between two fantastic men? Both guys had something that she wanted but only one was what she needed. And Nolan was perfectly him, sweet, caring and honest. His interactions with Wendy just about broke my heart. That part of the storyline was unexpected and handled with the grace and delicacy that it warranted.
The conclusion to this series was well rounded and left no question unanswered. The ending was fitting and well suited to everyone's character. I did want just a tad more of what happened between Jordan and Loren but was still satisfied.
